After six months of testing, the Night Vision Dot Goggles have been found to confer no visual advantage whatsoever. However, wearers reported increased confidence, a stronger posture and, in two cases, a refusal to answer to their own names.
One tester, Major Beans, wore them continuously for 11 days and began to introduce himself as Night Hawk. By the end of the trial he had cleared a corner of the garden of its mice, in the dark, using no night vision whatsoever, through reason alone.
We conclude that the goggles work through belief. Rating: 4 stars. We remove one for the strap, which was eaten.
